Job Details - Sashastra Seema Bal(SSB) has released the SSB Constable Tradesman & Driver Recruitment 2026 for 827 Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Combatised) & Non-Ministerial Constable posts including Veterinary, Driver, Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Carpenter and Nursing Orderly under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Eligiblity - Candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation with post-wise additional requirements such as Science subject and one year animal-treatment experience for Constable (Veterinary), valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License for Constable (Driver), ITI/trade experience or diploma for various Tradesman posts, and First Aid certificate plus one year experience in a 50-bedded hospital for Constable (Nursing Orderly), within the prescribed.
Age Limits - age limits ranging from 18–23 years for most Tradesman posts up to 18–27 years for Driver, Veterinary and Nursing Orderly.
Salary - All these latest police/defense jobs in SSB are offered in Level-3 of the 7th CPC pay matrix with a salary of ₹ 21,700–69,100 plus Dearness Allowance, Etc.
